About The Role
We are seeking an energetic, results-oriented Field Service Manager to join our Perth Service team. In this role, you will lead a team of site and field technicians, ensuring operational excellence within the technical service team. Reporting to the WA Service Manager, you will contribute to our market-leading brand by developing and maintaining business partnerships in a competitive industry.
Responsibilities & Duties
1. Deliver on service agreements and enhance customer satisfaction.
2. Maintain direct contact with current and prospective customers.
3. Provide excellent customer service, manage customer relationships, and promote retention.
4. Oversee the selection, training, and development of the field service staff.
5. Develop skills and improve work performance to support business growth.
6. Monitor technician performance daily in line with weekly service KPIs.
7. Manage work allocation to meet customer requirements.
8. Manage labour productivity within your area.
9. Identify performance shortfalls and address them promptly.
10. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to set industry standards.
11. Actively pursue new business opportunities and conduct service presentations.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate is passionate, pragmatic, and a problem solver with a strong drive for results and a customer-focused approach. You should have management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Proven success in a similar role within the Materials Handling, Automotive, or Capital Equipment industries is preferred.
You should demonstrate success in managing customer bases, actively pursuing new business, and possess high energy and motivation. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, along with negotiation abilities, are essential.
