The Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic Stores/Warehouse Manager to lead the daily operations of the stores team across both production and spare parts ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate handling of materials to meet ongoing operational needs. You will oversee inbound, storage, handling and outbound dispatch activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, supervise, and support the day-to-day activities of the stores team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
* Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to maintain high standards of productivity and accuracy.
* Administer employee time and attendance
* Develop team member skills and maintain departmental skills matrix to ensure cross functional coverage
* Oversee the safe and accurate handling, storage, and tracking of inventory movements in and out of the stores.
* Monitor inventory levels and promptly elevate potential stockouts or overstock situations to the Inventory Controller.
* Coordinate order picking, packing (as required), and replenishment activities to meet production and customer demands
* Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP inventory management processes and procedures.
* Ensure accurate tracking of stock movements within SAP and contribute to system improvements that enhance inventory control and reporting accuracy
You will need to demonstrate :
* Experience in warehouse, stores, or production inventory management role
* Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities
* Knowledge of safety regulations and safe material handling practices
* Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP inventory systems
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to identify and implement process improvement
