About Medical Scribing Role
This medical scribing position involves accompanying healthcare providers during patient visits to record the provider's assessment and examination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accompany providers during patient visits to assist in documenting the provider assessment and exam
* Gather and document patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, medical procedures, treatment plans, medical opinions of consultants, diagnoses, medication/prescription information, and follow-up instructions
* Navigate electronic medical records and monitor pending lab and radiology orders for results to guide patient care
Requirements and Qualifications:
* No prior experience required
* Commit to a minimum of 6 months with flexible scheduling options
* Ability to work at least two shifts per week with varied schedules available
* Excellent typing skills, preferably over 40 WPM
