We provide global consultancy advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to a diverse and growing base of business, regulatory and governmental clients. 
Our dedicated IT department are responsible for providing technical support to our 500+ staff located across Australia and New Zealand. We have an exciting chance for an energetic and personable Service Desk Analyst to join our team in our growing Perth office for a 1-year fixed term contract with the possibility of being extended. 
Working in a productive IT team spread across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and now Perth, you will be a team player who is able to work autonomously, have excellent people skills, a thirst for IT knowledge and eager to troubleshoot and assist the SLR staff in the APAC Region. 
Key Responsibilities 
**Job tasks and responsibilities** 
Your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): 
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically 
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues 
- Research questions using available information resources 
- Advise user on appropriate action 
- Follow standard Service Desk procedures 
- Log all Service Desk interactions 
- Administer Service Desk software 
- Redirect problems to appropriate resource 
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention 
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions 
- Prepare activity reports 
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates 
**Education and experience** 
- 2+ years in a service desk role within a large organization 
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop products 
- Experience with Microsoft Administration Tools 
- Experience with an IT Service Management tool 
- Exceptional customer service delivery 
- Excellent communication skills 
- Strong problem-solving technique 
- Ability to work autonomously and in the Team 
- Excellent attention to detail and quick response rate 
- Any experience within Consultancy or professional service environments will be highly regarded
