About The RoleThe Project Officer role will work as part of the West Moreton Health (WMH) Major Capital Project Team to deliver a range of infrastructure projects.The Key Responsibilities Of The Role IncludeCoordinate, assist and provide advice and support for the successful delivery of one or more WMH infrastructure projects or sub-projects, while ensuring milestones are achieved in accordance with acceptance criteria and timeframesUndertake project delivery activities by developing project plans, documentation records and registers suitable to the type and scale of assigned projects.Develop, implement and maintain adequate policy, processes, systems and internal controls to ensure effective and efficient support for the coordination and delivery of the ProjectsProvide effective administrative and logistical support to the Project teams including the co-ordination of meetings, preparation of agendas, distribution of minutes and record keeping, following up on action items and other correspondence and report preparation.About YouOur ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:Demonstrated organisation skills and ability to organise with a high level of independence and to act innovatively, resourcefully and meet deadlines and commitments possessing a logical proactive approach to achieve strategic goals.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to effectively interact with all levels of staff from diverse backgrounds, members of the public and private sector using tact, diplomacy and discretion.Demonstrated high level ability and experience in identifying and analysing problems, developing and implementing remedial strategies and exercising initiative and responsibility.Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of project support including high level administrative skills utilising contemporary office equipment and software packages.
