About This Role
The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides advanced, autonomous nursing care to adults and children presenting with urgent, non‐life‐threatening conditions at the Minor Injury and Illness Clinic (MIIC). Working within a multidisciplinary team, the CN leads clinical decision‐making, coordinates complex patient care, and ensures high‐quality outcomes. The role includes clinical leadership, education, research, and portfolio responsibilities, while partnering closely with Redland Hospital and local GPs to support seamless patient flow and continuity of care across Bayside Health Service.
About You
You are an experienced Clinical Nurse with strong clinical judgement who thrives in urgent or primary care settings. You work confidently and autonomously with undifferentiated patients while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team. You are committed to high‐quality, patient‐centred care and clinical leadership. You will bring:
* Advanced assessment and decision‐making skills in urgent, acute, or primary care
* Ability to work autonomously across adult and paediatric presentations
* Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
* Clinical leadership skills, including mentoring and supporting staff
* Commitment to quality, safety, and evidence‐based practice

Redlands Satellite Health Centre – Talwalpin Milbul
The satellite health centre is also known as Talwalpin Milbul, a name chosen by the Redlands Coast community and local Traditional Owners and Elders. It means "Redland Bay alive/active" in Jandai language.
The satellite health centre treats minor illnesses and injuries that aren't life‐threatening, and we also have diagnostic services for patients having treatment, including ultrasound, X‐ray and pathology.
