As a Process Engineer joining our expanding Victorian Water Team, you will be part of a highly skilled group committed to delivering resilient and sustainable water infrastructure. You'll contribute to complex, city‐shaping projects including treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations and broader water infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Work across all engineering phases including planning investigations, concept development, front‐end engineering and detailed design.
* Develop process calculations, models and simulations.
* Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), reports, design documents and technical specifications.
* Produce written reports and presentations to communicate engineering concepts clearly.
* Contribute to strategic and conceptual planning investigations that identify innovative and sustainable solutions to support resource recovery in a circular economy.
* Apply emerging technologies and innovative approaches to optimise efficiency and sustainability.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders to build positive working relationships and support business development and tender activities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
* Working toward Chartered status with Engineers Australia (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated experience in a consulting environment with a passion for water and wastewater treatment and sustainable outcomes.
* Knowledge of process engineering calculations, PFDs and P&IDs.
* Understanding of physical, chemical and biological water treatment methods.Experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
* Previous plant commissioning experience is advantageous.
