INTERMEDIATE TAX ACCOUNTANT - BRISBANE - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM WITH IN-HOUSE TRAINING + WELLBEING INITIATIVES (JOB ID 1233)

We are partnering with a well-established professional services firm with a strong presence across Queensland and Northern New South Wales. They provide a 360-degree suite of audit, tax, accounting, and advisory services to privately-owned businesses, listed companies, high-net-worth individuals, not-for-profits and more, delivering tailored solutions across Australia and internationally.
The Role:
* Support senior team members on tax advisory engagements, including structuring, tax planning, CGT, international tax, GST/FBT and private group issues
* Assist with preparing and reviewing compliance deliverables: individual and business tax returns, BAS/IAS, and associated ATO lodgements
* Research tax law and ATO guidance and draft client-ready advice and technical papers
* Contribute to projects such as restructures, transactions, and ATO reviews/private rulings
* Coached by experienced tax specialists and gain exposure to technically interesting domestic and international matters
* Build your career through formal study (CA/CPA/CTA or equivalent) and ongoing coaching, with exposure to cross-border matters
About You:
* Degree in Commerce, Business (Accounting), Law or a related field
* 2 - 4+ years' experience in tax/accounting or business advisory within a professional services environment
* Exposure to Australian tax with an interest in advisory (tax structuring, corporate tax, international tax, FBT)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to produce clear, structured advice
* Organised, enthusiastic and driven to grow your career
* Strong communication skills and capable of building positive relationships with clients and colleagues
* Committed to continuous learning and development (CA/CPA/CTA program in progress or planned)
