Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Dispatch and Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Coolalinga, NT.
This is a hands‐on role responsible for coordinating the day‐to‐day operations of our warehouse and yard. You will oversee the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of stock while ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered on time.
Working closely with our sales, service, and projects teams, you will help ensure product availability, coordinate freight and delivery schedules, and maintain efficient warehouse operations.
The role also includes supervising warehouse and logistics staff, allocating workloads, supporting team performance, and promoting safe work practices in line with company policies and procedures.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Scheduling deliveries and organising dispatch routes.
* Managing freight bookings and tracking shipments.
* Resolving delivery and logistics issues.
* Monitoring inventory levels and stock accuracy.
* Assisting with stocktakes and inventory control activities.
* Maintaining accurate records within inventory and ERP systems.
* Identifying and implementing improvements to warehouse and dispatch processes.
* Communicating effectively with customers, suppliers, and freight providers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, dispatch, or a similar operational environment.
* Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, including task allocation, coaching, and team support.
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Experience with inventory management, stock control, and inventory systems.
* Good computer skills and confidence using warehouse or ERP software.
* A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
* A current driver's licence.
* A forklift licence, or the willingness to obtain one.
Experience within the irrigation, pumping, water treatment, plumbing, or industrial sectors would be highly regarded but is not essential. We are willing to train the right person who has the right attitude and a willingness to learn our products and industry.
