This full-time Digital Marketing & Sales Assistant position at The Workers Wardrobe offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing retail company. Based in Maryborough, Queensland, you will play a key role in driving the company's digital marketing and sales initiatives. With a focus on content creation, social media management, email marketing, and digital analytics, you will play a key part in the company's digital transformation and growth.
What you'll be doing
* Assist in the development and implementation of The Workers Wardrobe's digital marketing strategy, including social media, email marketing, and website content
* Create engaging and visually appealing social media content and manage the company's social media channels
* Intermediate design skills are required to create visually compelling content across all digital platforms
* Create email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and reporting
* Monitor and analyse website performance, including traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics
* Collaborate with the Managing Director to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data‑driven solutions
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's website content
* Assist with the coordination and execution of digital advertising campaigns
* Stay up‑to‑date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices
* Support the sales team by responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service
* Provide administrative support, such as data entry, inventory management, and order fulfilment
What we're looking for
* 1‑2 years of experience in a digital marketing or social media assistant role, preferably in the retail or e‑commerce industry
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and on‑brand content
* Proficiency in using various digital marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management, email marketing, and website analytics
* Demonstrated proficiency in Canva, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and Facebook Business Manager is essential for this role
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
* Familiarity with digital marketing best practices, including SEO, SEM, and content optimisation
* Passion for staying up‑to‑date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Creative, innovative, and a team player with a positive attitude
* Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to be eligible for this position
