About this role:

This is a key leadership position in our department, focusing on the strategic management of digital solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that digital systems are aligned with our existing and future state health information systems.
The role involves providing strategy, direction, and technical expertise to support the transition to operations and commissioning of the Women and Babies Hospital (NWBHP). This includes review and advice for the delivery of all digital aspects of the NWBHP, including design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning, as well as digital infrastructure implementation in accordance with scope, schedule, quality standards, and specifications.
The Principal Project Manager (Digital) will coordinate the design and delivery of digital systems that form part of the NWBHP, ensuring alignment with NWBHP objectives, scope, and quality standards. They will maintain visibility of proposed amendments to digital project scope and provide advice on potential risks of such amendments on the project, along with viable solutions to mitigate these risks. Effective communication and collaboration among the digital team, the NWBHP team, and other stakeholders, including end-users, vendors, regulators, and external consultants, are essential.
* You will have extensive understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of digital hospital delivery under a complex building procurement environment, ideally under a major project procurement methodology such as a managing contractor form of procurement;
* You will have an understanding of digital procurement by State Government and how it relates to Health service delivery;
* You can establish networks and communicate and negotiate effectively with key, high level stakeholders in a complex digital infrastructure project environment;
* You can demonstrate highly developed conceptual and analytical skills; and
* You will be passionate and committed to deliver value for money outcomes for the State and the community of WA as a whole.

* Digital hospital delivery experience under a complex building procurement environment;
* Understanding of digital procurement by State Government and its application to Health service delivery;
* Strong networking and communication skills, including effective negotiation with high-level stakeholders;
* Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills;
* Passion and commitment to delivering value for money outcomes.
