Oracle Database Administrator
The Oracle database administrator is a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing an organization's database systems. The incumbent will be responsible for designing, implementing, and repairing the company's Oracle database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, changes, and problems related to engineering Oracle database instances
* Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning queries, creating indexes, and troubleshooting issues
* Manage database security and integrity, availability, backup, and restoration activities
* Proactively manage capacity-related concerns and respond to alerting identified by monitoring
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related information technology discipline (preferred)
* Industry-related certification in Oracle and Linux (favourable)
* ITIL Foundation certification with plus years of Oracle DBA experience
