Qualifications & Experience
* AQF Diploma plus 1 year experience, or 3 years managerial experience.
Responsibilities
* Sales and guest count analysis: prepare weekly and monthly reports; summarize and share KPIs with the executive manager and owner.
* Hire and train new employees for service areas that best meet sales volumes and customer demands; design training plans and monitor progress.
* Plan and execute crew schedules based on sales pattern analysis and crew proficiencies across kitchen, drive‐thru, cafe, front counter, etc.
* Set and monitor sales projections considering promotions, weather, and competitive activity; adjust rosters accordingly.
* Activate McDonald's in‐store promotions and local area marketing initiatives (e.g., McHappy Day).
* Identify customer needs and develop innovative solutions.
* Instill a customer‐obsessed mindset through training, rewards, and appraisals.
* Verify that food safety daily, weekly, and monthly minimums are met.
* Track labour metrics: average hourly rate, sales per crew hour, etc; ensure proper staffing while staying within budget.
* Manage people compliance (breaks, child labour responsibilities) in line with state legislation.
* Ensure all staff work safely and adhere to McDonald's policies and procedures.
* Plan inventory to maintain the right product mix and volumes for local customers.
* Report on inventory controls and costs.
* Maintain facilities, focusing on customer areas for optimal experience.
* Quality assurance of products to maintain the gold standard of food and beverage production, including crew training and equipment maintenance.
* Review responses on the online customer service portal; resolve issues.
* Represent the organization at official occasions, conventions, seminars.
* Embrace and promote the McDonald's open‐door policy.
