Coordinator of Volunteers
Permanent Part-Time – 3 days per week (24 hours)

Eastern Palliative Care (EPC) is a not‐for‐profit organisation that delivers specialist home‐based palliative care to clients and their families living within the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Recruitment, onboarding and training new volunteers
* Development of strategies to strengthen diversity of EPC's volunteer cohort
* Maintenance and oversight of volunteer management database (Better Impact) and preparation of relevant reports
* Coordination of volunteer engagement activities (forums, events, training, communications)
* Leadership of volunteer teams as needed
* Supporting team members in the delivery of volunteer programs when required
Our newest team member will have:
* Highly developed relational and communication (written and verbal) skills
* Highly developed competency with Microsoft Office programs (including Excel), database systems (ideally Better Impact) and online training platforms
* Experience developing and delivering training modules, both face‐to‐face and online
* Experience managing end‐to‐end recruitment and onboarding processes
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Tertiary qualifications in health, community, or education sector (or sustained work experience in one or more of these fields)
* At least 3 years of experience working with volunteers is preferred
