The Role
The successful applicant will ideally display:
* Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching programs aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
* A capacity to implement explicit teaching practices and integrate whole school approaches into their instructional model that results in improved student outcomes.
* Skills in using assessment data to inform planning, monitor progress, provide targeted support and measure their effectiveness as an educator.
* A strong understanding of differentiation within the classroom to support student learning is required
* An alignment between instructional beliefs and alignment to a school wide improvement agenda/priorities is vital.
* The ability to establish positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, fostering a safe, supportive, and high-expectation learning environment.

* hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
* apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
