The Opportunity
Step into a high-impact role delivering safety and sustainability for one of Australia's most critical combat aviation programs. Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join the AH‐64E Apache sustainment team in Townsville. As a EHS Specialist at Boeing you will:
* Provide Environmental and Health & Safety subject‐matter expert advice to the Apache program and internal stakeholders.
* Support EHS processes, regulatory compliance and risk control across maintenance, test and sustainment activities.
* Lead inspections and audits, investigate incidents, and recommend effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Coordinate the development and maintenance of EHS Management Plans (EHSMPs) aligned with Boeing requirements and international standards.
* Champion and help embed a proactive EHS culture focused on continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
* 5+ years' relevant EHS experience.
* Tertiary qualification in Environment, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
* Deep knowledge of Environmental and Health & Safety legislation and regulatory frameworks.
* Energy, passion, strong problem‐solving skills and a practical, can‐do attitude.
* Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a high‐performance team.
Security requirement
* Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
