The role is hands-on and suits someone who enjoys both the coordination/planning side and the customer-facing execution side of functions. You won't be stuck behind a desk all week. This role is heavily involved in meeting clients, running events, building relationships, and ensuring service delivery on the floor. The Role You'll be responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of events including corporate functions, social events, celebrations, large group bookings, and premium hospitality experiences across multiple spaces within the venue. Key responsibilities include: Managing functions end-to-end from initial enquiry through to execution Meeting clients, conducting site inspections, and building strong customer relationships Coordinating event logistics with internal departments including operations, kitchen, and venue management Preparing run sheets, event documentation, and function details Overseeing key events on the floor and ensuring smooth execution and service delivery Managing function enquiries, bookings, and follow-up communication Supporting revenue growth through strong client experience and repeat business Assisting with improving systems, processes, and overall event delivery standards About You Previous experience within a functions, events, or event sales role in hospitality Comfortable managing events from planning through to live execution Strong organisational and communication skills Confident dealing directly with clients and stakeholders Professional, energetic, and genuinely hospitality-focused Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments Experience within pubs, large-format venues, hotels, or event-driven hospitality venues highly regarded Why This Role?
