We are seeking an experienced Infectious Diseases specialist to fill a leadership position at our hospital in Tasmania.
About the Position:
The Head of Department will provide expert clinical care, participate in research and teaching, and lead programs like Antibiotic Stewardship.
About You:
You should be a fellowship-trained ID specialist with proven leadership skills, a passion for teaching and mentoring, and a sense of adventure. You will work alongside passionate clinicians, researchers and academics from the University of Tasmania Medical School.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Provide expert care in Infectious Diseases
 * Deliver outpatient consultations across Northern Tasmania
 * Provide inpatient advice, including twice-weekly critical care ID rounds
 * Lead and participate in research, quality improvement and teaching

Tertiary Qualifications:
