Paid Media Buyer – Meta (Performance Lead Generation)
Biz Leadz is a Gold Coast-based performance marketing company specialising in scalable lead generation systems across finance, insurance and regulated industries in Australia.
We operate high-volume, pay-per-lead campaigns with a strict commercial focus on profitability and scale.
We are hiring an experienced Paid Media Buyer with strong experience in Meta — and ideally Google — to take ownership of significant daily spend and drive profitable growth.
This is not a reporting role. This is a performance ownership role.
The Role
You will manage and scale paid campaigns with initial daily spend of $5,000–$10,000, with the mandate to increase spend responsibly while protecting margin.
Meta Ads is the primary channel and will always represent 50%–100% of total traffic. If you have strong Google Ads capability, spend will be split closer to 50/50 — but make no mistake, this is a Meta-first role.
You will have authority over:
* Budget increases and allocation
* Pausing underperforming campaigns
* Scaling winning ads
* Creative and testing direction
Key responsibilities include:
* Launching, scaling and optimising lead generation campaigns end-to-end
* Running structured testing cycles across hooks, angles and formats
* Testing UGC, statics, search angles and direct-response creatives
* Collaborating with internal creative and funnel teams
* Making fast, data-driven optimisation decisions aligned with profitability
You will be judged on performance and commercial outcomes — not activity.

* Spend increases while maintaining profitability
* Underperformers are cut quickly
* Testing velocity remains high
* Clear ownership of outcomes
Our funnel infrastructure includes verification and filtering systems to protect lead quality. Your role is to drive profitable traffic into a system built for performance.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
* Proven experience running Meta Ads for lead generation — Google Ads experience is a strong advantage
* Minimum experience managing $5,000–$9,999 daily ad spend
* Minimum 3–5 years of Meta Ads experience
* Experience in performance-based or pay-per-lead environments
* Strong understanding of unit economics and margin
* Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
* Comfortable in a high-accountability, performance-driven environment
* Australian work authorisation required at time of application
Experience in finance, lending, insurance or other regulated verticals is highly regarded.
This is not a junior role.
What This Role Is Not
* Not eCommerce media buying
* Not a media buying-only role
* Not a slow agency environment with multiple approval layers
If you require heavy direction or struggle with independent decision-making, this role will not be suitable.
Compensation
This role is base salary plus uncapped performance commission.
The commissions are where the real earning potential sits — the structure is deliberately weighted to reward people who scale profitable campaigns.
* Commission: Uncapped, tied directly to campaign performance and profitability
* OTE: $150,000 – $225,000+
