Hill Consulting is partnering with TasWaste South a purpose-driven organisation established by the 12 Southern Tasmanian councils to coordinate the recovery and management of solid waste across the region.
With a strong focus on sustainability, this organisation plays a critical role in fostering the efficient use, collection, and reprocessing of resources—delivering tangible environmental and community outcomes.
They are seeking a Communications and Engagement Officer to lead strategic communications and engagement activities for TasWaste South, connecting stakeholders, communities, and industry to their important work.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the development and delivery of strategic communications and engagement initiatives that inform and connect with TasWaste South’s diverse range of stakeholders.
You will:
1. Develop, deliver, and evaluate communications strategies and stakeholder engagement plans
2. Provide clear, practical communications advice to internal teams and external stakeholders
3. Create engaging written content, including website copy, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials
