**Full Job Description**
Early learning Placements is currently recruiting for Room Leader preschool & Toddler Room Leader positions in Engadine
Together we work in partnership with families to ensure a respectful loving, safe and nurturing home like environment, working collaboratively towards achieving all learning outcomes. Children are constantly encouraged to freely explore their surroundings and to stimulate their learning by connecting with the natural world and growing into active members of the community. Our interactions, experiences, activities, routines and events, planned and unplanned, that occur in our prepared environment, is designed to foster all children's learning outcomes and wellbeing.
**Key responsibilities include yet are not limited to**:
- Develop, plan and implement a quality child care and education program in consultation with the team and in line with the EYLF.
- Responsible for the guidance and support of less experienced staff within the team.
- Communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis.
- Create a stimulating, positive and appropriate environment to foster and support development.
- Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development.
- Provide physical & emotional care, assisting children in daily routines and meal times.
- Maintain up to date records for each child within the group.
- Be responsible for the day to day running of the room, programming and various projects.
- Ensure the team work within the framework of the National Quality Standards and the EYLF.
- Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care recognized by ACECQA.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- An understanding and interest of all the developmental areas for children.
- Previous experience within a child care environment (highly regarded).
- An exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- An excellent presentation skills.
- The ability to build good rapport within the team and with children and their families.
- A flexible, motivated and reliable attitude.
**Salary**: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Supplementary Pay:

- Engadine NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
