About the role:
Reporting directly to the CEO and as a member of the ExecutiveLeadership Team, the Director Infrastructure & City Services leads a diverse, multi-disciplinary portfolio spanning infrastructure,city services, assets and community facilities. The role has end-to-end accountability for the planning and delivery of capital works, city operations and asset management, ensuring projects and services are delivered efficiently, safely and with strongfinancial discipline. Operating in a complex and evolvingenvironment, the Director will lead through change, navigateenterprise agreements and work closely with Councillors, the community, unions and government stakeholders. A key focus is ensuring risks are well understood and effectively managed, while maintaining momentum across multiple priorities.
This role plays a critical role in providing stability while driving the delivery of a large and complex capital works program. This position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide outcomes, keep the organisation grounded in delivery, and make atangible impact on the community through high-quality, sustainableservices and programs. The role will also lead several significant projects for Council, including the Williamstown Lifesaving Club redevelopment, Wetlands Centre redevelopment and the renewal of major aquatic facilities.
