The Role
Enrolled Nurses within the Operating Room Suite work across the domains of Instrument and Circulating, with an option of Anaesthetics to provide elective and emergency care to patients across multiple specialty areas.
You will need
* The Operating Room Suite is a dynamic environment requiring the successful applicant to prioritize tasks, adapt and respond to changing situations.
* 12 months Operating Room experience within the past 3 years is desirable

Details of appointment
Multiple permanent full time and part time, shift worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 22 March 2026.

Salary
$73,109 to $80,524 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

Eligibility
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (holds a board-approved qualification in administration of medicines)
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
* Minimum 12 months Operating Room experience within the last 3 years
* Minimum 3 years Operation Room experience within the last 5 years
* Attainment of Post Graduation Certificate, or greater, in the area of Perioperative Nursing
* Affiliation with Perioperative Nursing Body – Australian Council of Operation Room Nurses
