About the role
We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Site Installer to join our dynamic team at Coastwide Steel & Metalwork based in Tuggerah, NSW.
As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, of architectural steel such as Balustrades, Gates, Handrails and some structural steel.
The job is 95% site based - our building site range from upper Hunter to southern and western sydney.
Company Ute & Electrical Equipment Provided - hand tools supplied by you, Travel allowance & tolls paid.
What you'll be doing
* Operate cutting, welding, and other metalworking equipment to assemble and install steel structures
* Perform on-site installations of architectural steel work.
* Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with relevant safety regulations
* Collaborate with the project team to provide technical expertise and troubleshoot any issues that arise
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
* Formal trade qualification as a Boilermaker or relevant experience in architectural steel fabrication and installation
* White Card, EWP and working at heights an advantage
* Proven skills in welding, cutting, and metalworking techniques
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Experience working on construction sites and a strong understanding of safety protocols
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with the project team
