CJD Equipment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented HV Mechanic specialising in Road Transport, to join the team at our Bunbury Branch.

This role will also provide you with the opportunity to work with world‐class products such as Kenworth & DAF Trucks, and play a key part in the supervision, mentoring, and development of apprentices.
A day on the job will see you:
Carry out diagnosis and troubleshooting procedures relating to mechanical failures in a professional and timely manner in accordance with the manufacture's recommendations.
Ensure all records kept are legible and in compliance with established procedures.
Ensure all parts and materials required to perform assigned services are pre‐ordered whenever possible and all parts and materials not used are returned.
Using computer‐based service diagnostics and utilising your knowledge of parts.
Maintaining exceptional standards of safety and quality workmanship.
Liaise and maintain clear and professional communications with internal and external customers.
Providing an excellent service to our valued customers.
Promote a culture of team collaboration in line with CJD's values.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant trade certificate as a HV Mechanic.
Industry experience - working with Kenworth and DAF Trucks, Cummins experience or alike.
MC or HR Truck and Forklift License preferred.
Air‐con ticket an advantage.
A commitment to safety in the workplace for you and your teammates.
Experience utilising computer‐based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogues.
Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
Previous supervision experience is welcome.
