Key Requirements:
* Enrolled in second year of Bachelor of Nursing Degree, including acute placement; OR
* Certificate III : Must have a Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or similar.
* Experience : A minimum of six months paid experience in supporting the elderly or individuals with disabilities.
* Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
* Empathy : A genuine sense of empathy and compassion for individuals you support is a must.
* Mobility : An unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence and a vehicle for work use.
Your Role:
As a Disability Support Worker or Personal Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals living in the community. Your duties may include assisting with daily activities, personal care, mobility, medication management, and offering companionship and emotional support.
