As a Project Governance Coordinator, you will play a key role in the success of our Macquarie Island Station Project.
The project involves implementing governance systems and processes to manage and deliver building and construction works. You will work closely with project teams to ensure effective project control and planning, as well as reporting to stakeholders.

* Developing and implementing project governance models, including risk and issue mitigation and management
* Working with a high-performing multi-disciplinary project team to deliver projects on time and within budget
* Providing advice and support to stakeholders on project impacts and requirements
About Us
We are part of the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, and are responsible for achieving the Australian Government's Antarctic goals. These goals include maintaining the Antarctic Treaty System, protecting the Antarctic environment, understanding the role of Antarctica in the global climate system, and undertaking scientific work of practical, economic and national significance.
We also have responsibility for administering the Australian Antarctic Territory and the Territory of Heard Island and McDonald Islands. Our Infrastructure Delivery Section is responsible for the construction of built infrastructure at Australia's Antarctic and sub-Antarctic stations, and provides project management services to support the design, operation and maintenance of all station infrastructure.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Governance Coordinator who can provide leadership and guidance on project governance and planning. The successful candidate will have:
* Demonstrated experience in complex project governance models, including Design & Construction, Alliances, Public, Private Partnership or similar
* Experience in the development and implementation of project control processes, risk and issue mitigation and management
* Excellent interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders

To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australian citizen and hold a Baseline Vetting security clearance.
