About the Role

Community Support Centre Innisfail is seeking a new team member to fulfill the role of Front Desk Administrator. This position is Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per fortnight; SCHADS Level 3.1 $38.65).

The Front Desk Administrator is responsible for creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all visitors to the Community Support Centre Innisfail.

The role provides responsive, respectful, and meaningful first-point-of-contact interactions in collaboration with staff and volunteers to support the needs of all visitors to the Centre.

The Front Desk Administrator will deliver efficient reception and administrative support to ensure the effective daily operation of the Centre.

Who are we looking for?

Essential Requirements:

* Well-developed reception and administration skills, knowledge and experience.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal staff, and external stakeholders, utilising a range of communication strategies and platforms to ensure clear, professional, and responsive engagement.

* Demonstrated commitment to culturally safe and inclusive practice, with the ability to communicate and work effectively with people from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

* Strong computer skills with proven experience navigating client management systems and accurately collecting and managing data.

* Possession of a valid 'Working with Children' Suitability card or ability to acquire one.

Desired Skills, Attributes, and Experience:

* Demonstrated experience working in a community services or non-government organisation environment.

* Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working with child aware practice frameworks.

* Demonstrated experience and skill to effectively manage competing priorities.

* Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality and privacy.

* Experience using databases, client management systems, or data entry systems.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Possession of a drivers licence.
