Position Information

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at RFBI Basin View Masonic Village on a full‐time basis. This dynamic role will oversee the provision of high‐quality catering services to residents, meeting their nutritional needs and special dietary preferences in an effective and efficient way.

Responsibilities

* Prepare, present and serve high‐quality food and meals to residents.
* Develop menus and meal plans, ensuring choice for residents and compliance with health and nutritional standards.
* Collaborate with the Care Manager and care team to deliver meals that meet specific dietary needs.
* Maintain compliance with the food and safety program, delivering a high‐quality, efficient and effective service.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Experienced Cook with a focus on delivering high‐quality food service to residents.
* Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery).
* Qualification in Safe Food Handling and Preparation.
* Understanding of and sensitivity to the issues related to providing services to older people.
* Relevant experience working in a food services environment.
* Knowledge of special dietary needs for the elderly.
* Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles.
* Driven to work for a reputable aged care provider and become part of the RFBI family.

Must have or be able to obtain a current National Police Check (AFP Code 22) and be willing to undergo a Pre‐Employment Functional Assessment to be considered for this position. All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
