You will work with a multidisciplinary team of medical and allied health professionals on site to contribute to positive mental health outcomes for the Australian Defence Force personnel. This role is full-time, fixed-term for 12 months, with shifts Monday to Friday weekly within the opening hours of 7:30am – 4pm.

As a mental health registered nurse, you'll make a positive impact by:
* Performing intake assessments and risk assessments.
* Providing crisis intervention.
* Planning case formulation and treatment planning.
* Planning care coordination.
* Performing mental health screenings.

To be successful in this role, you'll have the following:
* Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a registered nurse in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Credentialed with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN); or minimum qualification of Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing; or Mental Health trained nurse / United Kingdom trained undergraduate Mental Health Nurse.
* Minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) post-registered nurse general registration experience within the previous 5 years in mental health in a primary health setting or specialist mental health setting.
