Credit AnalystFinstro has been solving financial challenges within B2B Trade finance since 2014 and served global businesses with over $1 billion in Trade Payments.Finstro provides a complete cashflow management platform, enabling customer and supplier payments and providing innovative credit-based solutions to help businesses grow.We are looking for a Credit Analyst to assist us in evaluating financial data, managing credit risks, and making recommendations to support our lending decisions.Key Responsibilities:Provide timely and accurate credit assessment of new & existing clients for facility limits up to $100k, appropriate reasoning evident when outside policy.Management of Client applications, queries and challenges posed by Business Development Managers, Account Managers & Referral Partners.Timely registration of PPSR interests for all approved clients - within 2 weeks of Approval Date.Preparation & submission of Equifax Alert Files.Review and interpret financial statements as part of a loan application, which includes bank statements, payslips, government benefits and other financial records to validate business income and expenses.Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations.Collaborating with other departments to share analysis findings and support business decisions.Back up for Preparation of Credit Submissions for deal size greater than $100k, including applying for Trade Credit Insurance.Validation of all transactions to ensure fraud risk is minimized for both domestic and international transactions.Create feedback loop with Credit Manager to identify and address trends in high-risk client applications and transaction management.Other duties assigned by direct manager.Experience and Skills Required:A Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent preferred.At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in Banking/Financial Services is required for this position specializing in fraud analysis, loan applications and credit analysis.Experience within SME credit assessment for Cashflow Finance and or SME lending.Advanced interpersonal skills and the willingness to have difficult conversations with internal and external stakeholders.Understanding of Equifax and/or other Credit Bureau standards and procedures.Experience working for an Australian or any financial institution, an advantage.Ability to write credit proposals that serve the interest of all parties involved.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to proficiently manage multiple tasks at the same time.Candidates applying in Sydney, must be in and have full working rights to work in Sydney, Australia.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance and Analyst
