**About the role**
In this role, you will support the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Team by managing the administration of the WorkCover claim and injury management process.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining worker's compensation, injury management, early intervention and rehabilitation documentation for work related injuries and illnesses.
- Maintaining and managing confidential injury management files and correspondence in accordance with legislation and guidelines.
- Assisting and preparing injury management case/file notes, return to work plans and correspondence in accordance with legislation and guidelines.
- Arranging financial payments for unit functions and completing monthly reconciliation of compensation.
- Processing workers compensation claims documentation and maintain records within the statutory requirements and timeframes.
- Assisting and participating in return to work and case review meetings as requested.
- Supporting Senior Injury Management Advisors in the management of injured workers as directed.
- Liaising with treating health practitioners, occupational rehabilitation providers and the authorised agents in relation to Council employees as requested.
- Maintaining Injury Management System, procedures, and other related systems.
- Preparing templates, reports, alerts, and other internal publications.
- Provide support to the wider HSW Team as directed.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated administrative experience in an office environment, with experience in word processing, spreadsheet and data base software packages, accounts payable and receivable, and data entry.
Essential Experience:
- Strong customer service focus with demonstrated ability to support a diverse stakeholder group across different services, functions, Industries.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience in the use of a Document Management systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including Victorian WorkCover Authority, Return to Work Inspectorate, contractors, consultants, and Council officers.
- Highly developed attention to detail with strong numeracy, analytical and critical thinking skills.
