Title and Summary
Managing Consultant, Advisors & Consulting Services, Business Experimentation
Advisors & Consulting Services at Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services leveraging expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with strategic insights and recommendations. We work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Business Experimentation consultants advise executives on business decisions using Mastercard’s industry-leading predictive analytics SaaS platform, Test & Learn. They work with customers to identify key priorities, then design and run business experiments to determine what works and how to deploy successful ideas.

Roles and Responsibilities
Client Impact
* Lead client engagements across various industries and problem statements
* Develop strategies and programs for regional and global clients using data science tools including Test & Learn
* Manage relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders; assess client agendas, culture, and change readiness
* Provide analytical and technical expertise; promote Test & Learn adoption and competency
Team Collaboration & Culture
* Lead teams to generate insights and business recommendations using Test & Learn; deliver impactful presentations; foster team growth
* Provide project leadership and create an inclusive environment
* Collaborate with Mastercard stakeholders to scope projects, develop solutions, and build intellectual capital
* Mentor junior consultants through coaching and on-the-job training
Qualifications
Basic qualifications
* Undergraduate degree with experience in consulting, analytics, or data science
* Experience managing teams and client relationships
* Knowledge of business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership
* Skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and interpreting large datasets
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to handle multiple projects
* Effective communication in English and local language; eligibility to work and travel
Preferred qualifications
* Experience with data modeling, visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), SQL, or time series analysis
* Innovative solution development experience
* Relevant industry expertise
* MBA or master’s degree with relevant specialization (preferred but not required)
