Job Opportunity: Customer Service Representative
The Company: Our client is a thriving global business with a well-established history of manufacturing a vast range of innovative, high-quality products for the civil infrastructure and construction industry.
Committed to delivering first-class service and customer-focused solutions, they are looking to recruit a passionate Customer Service Representative to join their high-performing team in South Brisbane.
Joining a close-knit team with a true family feel to their culture, you will be provided exceptional training and ongoing development opportunities to continue to grow your career.
The Role:
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this front-line position is fast-paced and diverse, but is not based in a high-volume call centre.
You will be the first point of contact for a wide range of new and existing customers, as well as supporting the local sales team and contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to inbound enquiries from customers around Australia, providing technical advice and accurate information about pricing, products and lead times.
Qualify and respond to sales leads and provide relevant, usable information that can lead to sales.
Manage the Sales Order process through to delivery, ensuring customers' expected delivery dates are maintained and any changes are communicated with all involved stakeholders.
Action back orders in a timely manner.
Investigate customer complaints or requests and advise action required.
Liaise with Finance and Warehouse for orders and credits.
Ensure Warranty claims are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
Complete various administrative tasks – new customer applications, pricing change requests, processing claims and credit returns, and updating customer information in the CRM.
Your Profile:
You are a passionate and high-energy professional with proven experience in an Internal Sales or Customer Service role, ideally within a manufacturing environment in the construction sector.
You will be a strong and confident communicator and have the ability to multitask and reprioritise when business demands are changed.
You love going above and beyond when partnering with customers to provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Prior experience working in a mid-sized ERP system is essential.
This exciting opportunity is not based in a high-volume call centre, so the ability to build trusted relationships with ongoing customers and "walking the talk" is key to success.
In return, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary package, ongoing training, and development opportunities, and a friendly and supportive team.
If you believe you have the above-listed qualities and experience and are seeking a new career challenge, please apply directly by hitting the apply tab.
