Permanent position – Morning/Day Shift

We are fast-paced food manufacturing facility running 24 hours per day Monday to Friday, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic Production Supervisor for our morning/day shift.
About the Role
As Production Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production during the day shift, supervising a small team of production workers and overseeing/operating production line machinery and equipment.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Production Supervisor. Would also consider someone with solid Team Leader experience looking to develop into a Supervisor role.
* Proven experience working with a fast-paced production line, ideally within a food manufacturing environment.
* Ability to work as part of the team with a hands-on approach.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to provide support and guidance to the team.
* Good attention to detail and an eye for accuracy in both documentation and production processes.
* Practical experience operating equipment and machinery within a manufacturing environment.
* Task orientated with a common-sense approach and aptitude for problem solving.
* Commitment and knowledge of Health & Safety in a production environment.
* Knowledge of Quality and HACCP requirements.
* Forklift licence preferred (or willingness to gain one).
Hours & Flexibility
Our production facility operates 24 hours, Monday to Friday. This role is primarily to cover the morning/day shift, typically working 5.00/6.00am - 2.00pm. However, flexibility to assist in providing cover across other shifts during periods of leave is highly desirable.
