Responsibilities
Join a supportive team of specialist Social Workers in the Women\u****s and Children\u****s Team
Make a meaningful impact on vulnerable families and individuals
Work in a temporary full-time capacity (parental leave relief) in Barwon Health\u****s Women\u****s and Children\u****s service
Qualifications
Sound assessment skills and an understanding of working with vulnerable families
Knowledge and experience of working with family violence, children at risk, mental health and community support services (advantage)
AASW accredited Bachelor Degree or entry level Master\u****s Degree of Social Work that provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers

About The Facility
Major sites include University Hospital Geelong, McKellar Centre, Barwon Health North, and residential aged care facilities. Mental health, community health and dental services are delivered across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About The Role
This temporary full-time position is based within the Women\u****s and Children\u****s Team at University Hospital Geelong. The team is a supportive group of specialist Social Workers.
The Successful Applicant Will Be
a Women\u****s and Children\u****s Social Worker, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, social workers and other professionals. The Successful Applicant Will Have
Sound assessment skills and an understanding of working with vulnerable families
Knowledge and experience of working with family violence, children at risk, mental health and community support services (advantage)
AASW accredited Bachelor Degree or entry level Master\u****s Degree of Social Work that provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
