The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Education Centre (ANMEC) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Education Services Co-ordinator to join our team and help shape, grow and contribute to the workforce for the future by delivering quality support to ANMEC students.About the Role:The ANMEC Education Services Co-ordinator will provide support within ANMEC for the Nursing Services Educators, Course Manager, students, and other staff. The role will involve a wide range of tasks and a high level of client service skills.The role will be varied and require the incumbent to have excellent interpersonal skills and additionally be well organized to co-ordinate a high number of placements across the acute hospital and aged care sector. The position will also support the Course Manager in the administration of the program.Through the application of duties and responsibilities the Education Services Co-ordinator will contribute to the recruitment and retention of students in ANMEC and promote the RTO within the ANMFSA as an effective and responsive organisation for nurses/midwives and personal care assistants, to members, potential members and to the broader community.Key responsibilities:Education Support and Co-ordinationTo co-ordinate and facilitate placement within the Nursing Program.Identify and develop systems and procedures relating to student administration.Provide customer service and contribute to the promotion of ANMEC services to students and prospective studentsRespond to student enquiries, course enquiries, bookings and paymentsManage end to end student enrolment and completion in collaboration with the Course ManagerAbout You:To be considered for the position you will need to demonstrate the following criteria:Experience in administrative work including those required by a training or education organisation, with experience of student records, registrations and database managementExcellent skills in organisation and co-ordination of administrative tasksDemonstrated well developed verbal and written communication skills using telephone, email and face to faceA working knowledge in the use of databases such as VETtrak for Education support or similar, and other reporting systemsDemonstrated customer service skills to provide prompt and appropriate assistance by responding and actioning counter, phone and email enquiriesA high level of computer literacy including the Microsoft suite of applications and computer-based information systemsAdditionally, employees must be willing to obtain a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC).About us:The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (SA Branch) (ANMFSA) is the principal professional and industrial organisation representing more than 24,000 nurses, midwives and personal care workers across South Australia.
