We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Laundry Assistant to join our team on a Permanent Part Time basis within our residential aged care home.

About The Role
As a Laundry Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of our residents by ensuring laundry services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing resident laundry and linen
* Ensuring all laundry is handled with care and returned promptly
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area
* Following infection control, hygiene, and safety proceduresWorking collaboratively with housekeeping and care teams
About You
You are reliable, organised, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Understanding of hygiene and infection control practices
* Compassionate and respectful approach towards elderly residents
* Previous laundry, cleaning, or aged care experience (Highly Regarded)
* Current Police Check (Required)
* Working rights in Australia (Required)
