The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Monitor to join our team and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and Customer/Country requirements. You will be responsible for monitoring each production area, conducting regular inspections, and collaborating with the production team to implement corrective actions. Key Responsibilities
* Perform timely and thorough pre-operational inspections of designated areas and undertake necessary corrective actions.
* Monitor the hygiene and cleanliness of operators and Personal Protective Equipment
* Perform metal detector and x-ray machine checks and undertake required corrective action.
* Monitor and report the hygiene and sanitation procedures during processing in each area.
* Monitor air and water temperatures.
* Regularly check, read, and reply to emails.
* Conduct hygiene checks including carton meat assessment and meat hygiene assessment.
* Complete the required electronic and hard copy forms daily, ensure to record all findings, corrective actions, follow-up actions and sign off once completed.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Essential:
* Flexibility to work shift rosters and weekends as required
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Outlook
* Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
Desirable (but not required, we can train the right person):
* HACCP training or understanding of food safety systems
* Experience with Beef Specification Training (Level 2)
* Qualification as an AUS-MEAT Standards Officer
* Certificate IV in Meat Processing or related industry qualification
* Familiarity with EMYDEX and Tiny Tag monitoring systems
