We are searching for a Site Manager to commence work as soon as possible, for a Living Away from Home assignment inQueanbeyan, NSW.
We require candidates with proven experience delivering new build and heavy refurbishment projects valued between $1-5 million.
The Site Manager is responsible for day-to-day running of a construction site including the effective and efficient coordination of all activity on project work sites, performance of workers and the building and construction processes. The Site Manager is expected to manage delays, rectify problems encountered on site and ensure building authority regulations are being met.
The Site Manager will be the main point of contact for site related queries and will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and the safety of the site is maintained. Success in this position will be in ensuring a construction project is completed according to target program and budget, whilst still achieving all safety, environmental and quality benchmarks.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Relevant work experience and skillsleading site operations for 2+ years within construction industry essential
* Construction White Card
* Proficiency in using Procore, HammerTechandMicrosoft office 365 or related systems
* Sound knowledge of various state building codes and regulations
* Ability to interpret architectural / engineering site drawings
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
