The Role:SRG Global Infrastructure is currently looking for Light Vehicle Mechanic for a Perth based role at their Naval Base workshop facility. This is a full-time permanent role on a 5:2 roster.We are seeking someone who will provide a high level of experience and support to current and future clients as well as our management team and other team members.Duties and Responsibilities: Service and maintain a fleet of Toyota Hilux’s & perform unscheduled repairs when required Maintenance of minor and major repairs of all light vehicles + assist with heavy vehicle repairs Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all vehicles in the fleet to ensure maximum output Working closely with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure SRG Global standards and expectations are met The successful applicant will have: Qualification in a light vehicle mechanical trade. Hold a current Forklift licence. Hold a current Drivers licence. 5+ years’ experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of Toyota vehicles – mechanical and electrical Self-Motivated with attention to detail when carrying out allocated tasks. Ability to pass pre-employment medical & site medical testing requirements. Have a strong understanding of safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment.
