Rare Senior Opportunity – Lead Our Mobile Dental Team

We are seeking a highly capable and confident Senior Dental Assistant to join our team in a maternity leave cover position, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. This role is suited to a mature professional with proven experience in dental assisting and people management, who is motivated by both excellence in care and leading a team.
What You’ll Do
Deliver high-quality chair-side assistance to our clinicians.
Mentor and support Dental Assistants, guiding their growth and ensuring team cohesion.
Oversee daily operations, including morning team check-ins, rostering updates, and task allocation.
Manage stock, ordering, and equipment to maintain smooth clinic operations.
Ensure infection control and sterilisation standards are consistently upheld.
Assist with onboarding and training new Dental Assistants.
Act as a key link between the DA team and management, addressing challenges with professionalism.
Drive our mobile dental clinic to schools across Adelaide.
What You’ll Bring
Extensive experience as a Dental Assistant, with a strong clinical and operational background.
Certificate III in Dental Assisting (Cert IV highly regarded).
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to support and manage people in a dental environment.
Maturity, professionalism, and excellent organisational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, supportive approach.
Confidence in stock management and practice software (Core Practice or Dental 4 Windows desirable).
Current driver’s licence and flexibility to travel across Adelaide.
