Reporting into the project leadership team, the Senior Procurement Manager will lead procurement strategy and execution across a major renewable infrastructure project.
You will oversee procurement from late-stage development through to construction, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and effective contract delivery.
Key responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end procurement strategy across the project lifecycle
* Develop procurement plans aligned with project schedule, budget and delivery milestones
* Manage RFP/RFQ processes including technical and commercial evaluation
* Negotiate EPC, BOP, equipment supply and subcontract agreements
* Work closely with engineering and project teams to refine scopes of work
* Structure procurement work packages to support efficient project delivery
* Support contract administration and supplier performance during construction
* Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Build strong relationships with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
Skills & Experience
* Relevant procurement experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or large construction projects
* Experience running competitive RFP processes and negotiating complex construction contracts
* Strong commercial capability across scope development, risk allocation and contract structuring
* Experience managing multiple procurement work packages on large projects
* Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability
Highly regarded:
* Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project experience
* Experience in solar, wind or grid-scale infrastructure
* Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Quantity Surveying or related discipline
