Catering Assistant Job in Aged Care
We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at an aged care residence in Mereweather, Newcastle. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving meals and snacks, re-stocking and cleaning kitchen areas, maintaining food hygiene and safety practices, and providing fast service throughout busy periods.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with food preparation and presentation
* Provide exceptional customer service, including serving meals and snacks
* Restock and clean kitchen areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
* Work efficiently during peak periods to ensure smooth service
