**Research Analyst - Acquisitions**:
- Undertake growth corridor research
- Key front end acquisition role
- Established business, significant existing pipeline
**About the Role**
Working closely with the established Acquisition team, your role will be to undertake the preliminary research and investigation into growth corridors to find opportunities for further investigation. You will research potential acquisition targets by analysing Victorian Planning Authority activities, upcoming and approved PSP's, and other strategic planning information to build a profile of landowners in geographical areas.
After this initial investigation work, opportunities will be tabulated and presented to internal management. You will also provide support with the preparation of submissions to the Acquisitions Committee and for Executive Approval. This role has a high level of commercial sensitivity and requires a high level of discretion and professionalism.
A**bout You**
To be suitably qualified and experienced, it is expected you may currently be working in a Research Analyst or similar position, have a strong interest in property development and enjoy focusing on Melbourne's growth corridors. It is expected you would participate with the UDIA as the peak industry body and want to build a career in this space. Exposure and a working knowledge of the Melbourne's growth corridors will be highly valued, together with your written and verbal presentation skills.
This is not a financially based analytical role, however there may be progression into a full Acquisition Manager position as you grown with the role and the company.
