Recruiting for a Clinical Registered/ Enrolled Nurse
Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for a permanent community based Registered/ Enrolled Nurse to join our Wide Bay team (Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm). Position location in Gympie.

Duties and responsibilities may include:
* Working with or under the guidance of medical practitioners and Allied Health professionals
* Medication Administration and Complex Clinical Care e. palliative care, bowel care/suppositories, catheter care, stoma care, oxygen and more
* Undertaking Assessments of clients and their homes
* Monitoring and communicating on the customer's wellbeing and reporting on progress of customers including but not limited to care assessments and health care plans
* Ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Care's policy and procedures, legislative requirements and program specific guidelines (i.e. DVA Community Nursing)
* Providing training, coaching and guidance to Community Support Professionals, Enrolled Nurses and Support Staff/Case Managers as required
* Review of Heath Care Plans
* Conducting skills assessments of Community Support Professionals performing complex care services as required
* Demonstrating a commitment to best practice and evidence of continued professional development
* Participating in staff meetings and attending training opportunities when required
* Occasional Wound Care
What you will need:
* Minimum Bachelors in Nursing
* Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
* Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
* Current AHPRA
* Current and satisfactory NDIS Screening Card and Working With Children Check
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred)
* Smartphone with internet access
* Proof of Vaccination(where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate
* Previous experience in the community care or health/aged care sector
* Understanding of DVA Community Nursing guidelines or previous community nursing experience
* Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
