Join Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firm. An opportunity now exists for a Business Development professional to join our Business Development team. As Business Development Manager, you will partner closely with our Perth leadership team to drive strategic client and business development initiatives across the local market. Working collaboratively with the Perth Partner in Charge, Perth-based partners and Client Relationship Partners, you will identify and pursue new client opportunities, deliver targeted go-to-market strategies, and elevate the firm's profile with key external decision-makers. This role requires agility and strong prioritisation skills, with the ability to respond effectively to changing business needs while ensuring initiatives are executed to a high standard. You will also play a key role in supporting at least one client within our Key Client Program, helping to strengthen and grow these critical relationships.

This role contributes to growing the firm's market share and profile, client retention and development by:
* Creating strong relationships with the PiC and partners to execute and influence internal teams to action.
* Identifying and prioritising opportunities at an office, client and market level and working with the partners to develop and implement pursuit strategies and profiling initiatives.
* 'Joining the dots' within and across the office, clients and firm to ensure that the firm is best positioned to pursue clients and opportunities in a collaborative fashion.
* Coaching and preparing partners to pursue key opportunities, pitches and beauty parades, including clear articulation of the value proposition.
* Managing strategic bids and tenders, ensuring strong pre-positioning disciplines.
* Working with a Key Client and agreed Perth client teams to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
* Bringing insight on clients to partners on revenue generation and relationship development.
* Sharing market, sector/industry, client and firm intelligence and insight, including via client listening.
* Oversight and strategic input into key events undertaken by the Perth office.
* Contributing to the effective workings of the national Clients & Markets team.
