Unite Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of our client, an established Australian supplier of industrial and trade products, supporting customers through efficient warehousing, distribution, and branch-based service in Darwin,NT. About the Role This is a hands-on role responsible for the accurate handling of stock and providing a professional, friendly experience for customers at the trade counter and over the phone. At times, you’ll be working independently, so initiative, reliability, and attention to detail are key. Key Responsibilities Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch or customer collection Loading and unloading deliveries safely (forklift use where required) Completing local deliveries as needed Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with stocktakes Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and WHS compliant Providing customer service at the branch counter and via phone, including: Taking customer orders, answering availability and order enquiries, coordinating pickups and deliveries, working autonomously when required to ensure smooth branch operations About You You’ll be a dependable, practical team player who’s comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done. You will ideally have: Previous experience as a Storeperson / Storeman or in a warehouse environment Customer service or trade counter experience (highly regarded) Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Basic computer skills for order entry and inventory systems The ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks A current Australian Driver’s Licence (essential) Forklift Licence (LF) preferred Unfortunately, we are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, who have the necessary permits to work in Australia.
