The Opportunity
Within the framework of the DIC Way, and giving due consideration to DIC's CorporateMission, Vision and Spirit, the role of Customer Service Specialist is responsible for supporting our customers and manufacturing operations through high-quality service delivery, order management and relationship building.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone and email
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Proactively manage orders to ensure delivery timelines and service agreements are met
Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams, including Operations, Planning and Sales
Follow up customer queries and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
Build strong, long-term customer relationships
Support general customer service administration and site-based coordination
Operate in line with quality, WHS and internal procedures
Key Skills and Experience
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Customer Services role
A background in manufacturing or an operational environment is highly regarded
Knowledge and experience with ERP and MRP systems (SAP highly desirable)
Ability to communicate effectively to all levels internally and externally.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail with a methodical work approach.
Be highly organised and able to multitask.
Capacity to function in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and goals
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Computer and other office-based experience and skills with MS Office.
