You will also provide high level specialist technical advice and support to the district on corridor management of your responsibilities will include:* Monitor and regulate state-controlled road corridors to prevent illegal activities and ensure compliance with legislation and policies.* Conduct site inspections, audits, and evaluations of third-party infrastructure, advertising devices, public utility plants (PUP), and access works, addressing compliance issues as needed.* Provide technical advice on construction activities and issue management.* Report to the Principal Advisor (Corridor Management) on developer projects, work quality, and arising issues.* Liaise with external authorities, local councils, and the public on matters related to road corridor activities, including service relocations and public utilities.* Review, assess, and approve permits for works within state-controlled road corridors.* Coordinate event management on state-controlled roads, including major events like Supercars and World Championships.* Participate in disaster management tasks, such as road inspections, when required.Mandatory qualifications and conditions:- A current Class 'C' Drivers Licence- Must be eligible to work in Australia.- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check and serious disciplinary action declaration will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.Submit your application online via the Smart Jobs and Careers.
